Cat Breeding with Decades of Cat/Kitten Experience
At Ragdolls2Riches, we have owned cats our entire lifes. We run a small cattery from our home with 4 queens and 2 studs. Being home raised, our kittens are comfortable around people, dogs, and household sounds.
After losing my job of 31 years, I decided in 2011 to become a Ragdoll cat breeder after purchasing my first Ragdoll a loving male Seal Lynx I named after Micky Dolenz of the Monkees. Also, I became disabled, and needed to be active but not stressed. So becoming a cat breeder was the perfect choice. My husband supports my venture 100% and been named 'Chief Pooper Scooper' in the business.
We have access to numerous Ragdoll cat mentors and have enjoyed success breeding these adorable cats. We are committed to providing our kittens with a loving environment. We breed the Traditional Ragdoll that was first bred by Ann Baker in the 1960's. Traditional Ragdolls are large, laid-back, semi longhaired cats with amazing blue eyes. The Traditional Ragdoll male that is altered will weigh between 15-20 pounds. The Traditional female altered Ragdoll will generally be smaller and weigh between 10-15 pounds.
We have just added a Blue Mink Ragdoll male who has a beautiful white mane, and white mittens. He is a teenager and into everything. Stefani our Tortie Ragdoll has been giving birth today,3/23/15. We will update more on Dylan and his offspring soon.
We feed Royal Canin Baby Cat and give each new owner a Royal Canin Kitten starter package.
